Beginning in 2024, the HCAP Network relaunched its online seminar series. This series is held throughout the academic year and provides an opportunity for HCAP Network members to present on research that is in progress and to receive feedback from fellow network members. We especially encourage early career researchers to present so that they can benefit from the extensive expertise available within our network.
Because these presentations involve unpublished work, we will not be sharing recordings publicly, but we do share recordings with those who join our seminar series listserv. If you are interested in attending, please complete the following Google Form:

Rich is an investigator in the area of mental health and aging, with a specific focus on the epidemiology of cognitive aging, cognitive reserve, and environmental influences on cognitive function. Cognitive reserve is a hypothesis proposing that personal experiences and characteristics (e.g., educational attainment) provide a buffer against the clinical effects of underlying disease. Rich is an epidemiologist and methodologist. He trained in Psychiatric Epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, Department of Mental Hygiene.
